Aureka Biotechnologies bags $1 million Series B to scale AI-driven drug discovery

Suzhou-based AI biotech company Aureka Biotechnologies (寻明生科) has received $100 million across its Series B and Series B+ financing rounds.

The initial round was exclusively backed by Granite Asia, while the follow-on round was led by strategic investors, with participation from Highlight Capital and continued financial support from existing backers including Qiming Venture Partners, Matrix Partners China and NRL Capital.

Founded by alumni from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Caltech, Aureka integrates AI with high-throughput, high-content wet-lab platforms to transform the drug discovery process.

The company will use the funding to build next-generation AI-powered automated biology platforms and advance clinical development of multiple pipelines targeting oncology, autoimmune diseases and other therapeutic areas.

Since its founding in 2021, Aureka has raised more than $200 million in total financing and established R&D operations in Suzhou, Boston and Singapore.

Linkhou raises nearly $15 million from Series C to expand AI industrial robotics

Suzhou-based industrial robotics company Linkhou (灵猴机器人) has secured more than 100 million yuan ($14.9 million) in Series C financing, led by Chendao Capital, CATL’s corporate venture arm, with participation from State-backed Industrial Mother Machine Investment Fund, Henan-based Eathink’s CVC Information Industry Fund and undisclosed yuan and US dollar-denominated industrial funds.

Existing shareholders including Suzhou Capital Group and Jade Capital continued to increase their stakes.

Founded in 2015, Linkhou develops industrial robots, core components and intelligent manufacturing solutions, serving sectors including automotive manufacturing, heavy machinery and semiconductor production.

With customers including Foxconn, Luxshare Precision and Lens Technology, the company plans to increase investment in AI-powered industrial robots and build a full-stack embodied intelligence system covering control, decision-making and multi-robot collaboration.

Futong Huizhi completes angel funding for closed-loop brain-computer interface

Jiaxing-based brain-computer interface startup Futong Huizhi (复通汇智) has completed an angel round worth tens of millions of yuan, led by Vision Plus Capital, with participation from YosenAI.

The company is developing tFUS-Mind, a closed-loop ultrasound-based brain-computer interface system that combines transcranial focused ultrasound with real-time EEG feedback for non-invasive neural regulation.

The product has completed multiple animal studies and early clinical validation, and the new funding will support R&D, regulatory approval and commercialization efforts.
