AI sensor maker Keydyn bags nearly $15 million in angel round

Shanghai-based embodied AI sensing component developer Keydyn (奇点智控) has raised nearly 100 million yuan ($15 million) in an angel round led by Hidden Hill Capital, with participation from Zhangjiang Sci-Tech Venture Capital, Pudong VC, Fourier and two listed companies.

The latest funding will support product iteration, market expansion and large-scale commercialization.

Founded in June 2026, Keydyn focuses on developing and mass-producing next-generation optical six-axis force sensors.

Its proprietary optical approach replaces conventional strain-gauge technology, addressing key industry pain points including temperature drift, cross-axis interference and high costs.

Using its optical architecture and proprietary high-precision automated calibration equipment, Keydyn has brought pricing down to the low-thousand-yuan range while delivering core performance comparable to overseas products priced at tens of thousands of yuan.

Its sensors have already been adopted by several leading AI hardware companies.

Servo joint producer Eyoubot raises $30 million in Series B round

Shanghai-based integrated servo-joint maker Eyoubot (意优智控) has raised more than 200 million yuan ($30 million) in a Series B round, backed by Samsung Venture Investment, Growth Venture Capital, Bridge Capital, Huaan Jiaye, HuaYi Ventures, Jiayou Fund, Nantong Investment, Foto Group, Xishan State Fund, Wuxi East Industry Investment, Ningde Intelligence and Guoxing Investment, with existing shareholders also participating.

The company has completed three funding rounds totaling more than 500 million yuan this year.

The latest funding will support core technology development and automated production facilities.

Eyoubot develops and manufactures integrated servo joints, with proprietary hardware FOC algorithms and dedicated driver chips backed by more than 60 patents.

Its orders for 2026 have exceeded 1.5 million joints, 15 times its full-year 2025 shipments, placing it among China’s leading suppliers of integrated joints for humanoid robots.

Its customers include AgiBot, Tars, iFlytek, FAW, TCL and Siemens, with business also expanding into Japan, South Korea, North America and Southeast Asia.

Roller screw maker Nous Robotics secures $15 million Series A+ round

Shanghai-based precision transmission component supplier Nous Robotics (诺仕机器人) has completed a nearly 100 million ($15 million) Series A+ round led by Shunwei Capital, with participation from Wangqian Mingcheng.

The company has now completed four funding rounds, with previous investors including SAIC Motor Venture Capital, Spinnotec and Lenovo Capital.

The new funding will support capacity expansion, product upgrades and overseas market development.

Its core product is a miniature planetary roller screw, a key precision transmission component used in humanoid robot joint modules.

AI infra startup Lancun raises announces pre-Series A funding

Shanghai-based embodied AI infrastructure company Lancun (澜存科技) has raised tens of millions of yuan in a pre-Series A round from Wuxi Capital Group, just three months after completing its angel round.

The latest proceeds will support next-generation embodied AI infrastructure, talent recruitment and product expansion.

The company is building a physical interface layer for foundation models, allowing different terminals to connect to AI models through standardized interfaces and operate as intelligent nodes with sensing, memory and collaboration capabilities.

Its product portfolio spans AI toys, smart wearables, smart home devices, industrial scheduling and smart spaces.

Lancun’s proprietary EmoMonte emotional voice agent can recognize 50 types of human emotions with interaction latency of less than 0.3 seconds.
