All Blossom Conference celebrates 10th year, to focus on AI, robots and unicorns

  • Release of annual rankings documents rise of unicorns, quasi-unicorns and even seed unicorns
  • This year’s edition to hold live robot competitions and a man-controlled flight show

The 10th All Blossom Conference will take place from April 22 to 24, 2026, at the Hangzhou International Expo Center, marking a decade of celebration for innovation in Zhejiang.

The conference, one of the most anticipated events in China’s tech and venture capital landscape, is organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the China National Democratic Construction Association (CNDCA), the Zhejiang Federation of Industry and Commerce, and the China Investment Development Promotion Association, with support from the Hangzhou Entrepreneurship & Venture Association.

Launched in 2017, the All Blossom Conference has been held annually every spring, becoming a key event for entrepreneurs, investors, and technology experts.

Its inaugural event, aligned with Arbor Day on March 12, set the tone for years of groundbreaking discussions. The 2026 edition will be no exception, as it delves into emerging fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), embodied intelligence, and next-generation innovation in technology.

This year’s theme will place a spotlight on Zhejiang’s growing leadership in AI and robotics, with the conference introducing the “Embodied Intelligence 18 Arhats” exhibition.

Attendees will get an exclusive first look at the “2026 Zhejiang Province Embodied Intelligence Hidden Dragon Map,” a comprehensive guide to the province’s top players in embodied intelligence and AI.

Further showcasing Hangzhou’s strong position in AI research, the “Hangzhou AI 18 Arhats Exhibition” this year will highlight the city’s advancements in building open-source ecosystems and large-scale AI models.

This exhibition underscores Hangzhou’s role as a leader in AI development, particularly its strength in AI applications and large-model deployment, giving the city a central place in China’s growing innovation ecosystem.

Adding to the excitement, the conference will host live demonstrations, including a “Robot Arena” and a low-altitude flight show.

In the Robot Arena, competing teams are set to test their robots’ performance in complex real-world scenarios, showcasing their capabilities in movement control and algorithmic response.

The low-altitude flight show aims to offer a thrilling human flight performance, powered by advanced flight control and scheduling technologies.

The All Blossom Conference has also become a prestigious venue for unveiling the latest unicorns in Zhejiang.

This year, the conference will issue the updated rankings for Zhejiang’s unicorns and quasi-unicorns, a category for companies valued at $100 million and above.

Last year, the event blazed new trails by introducing the “Seed Unicorn” category for the first time, recognizing startups valued at over $10 million.

This marks a new chapter in the province’s venture ecosystem, as the rankings expand from Hangzhou to the broader Zhejiang province.

The rankings were first introduced in 2018, comprising the “Hangzhou Unicorn” and “Hangzhou Quasi-Unicorn” lists, and have over the years evolved into a highly anticipated annual release.

As of 2025, Zhejiang is home to 55 unicorns, with Hangzhou hosting 44 of them. The rankings help track the growth trajectory of tech companies, from seed-stage startups to market giants, with valuations from $10 million to $1 billion and beyond.

Key players on Zhejiang’s tech scene, such as Unitree, Game Science, and DEEP Robotics, made their appearance in past years’ rankings, first as quasi-unicorns and then as unicorns.

Notably, DeepSeek, one of the “Six Dragons of Hangzhou” that rose to prominence in early 2025, reached unicorn status the same year.

The other five, including BrainCo, Unitree, DEEP Robotics and Game Science, were recognized in the “Quasi-Unicorn” chart in 2022, while Manycore Tech was included even earlier, in 2019. They have all moved on to join the unicorn club.
