DEEP Robotics put robot dogs to work in Zhejiang bayberry harvest
The rollout addresses a recurring logistical constraint in one of China’s best-known bayberry-growing regions.

The robot combines a quadruped platform, AI models and 5G-plus-satellite communications to enter hazardous areas without human rescuers.
As of March 25, the robot had assisted inspections on more than 5,000 containers, achieving a container-number recognition accuracy rate of 92% and a foreign-object detection rate of 95%.
The system enables remote coordination and autonomous task allocation, allowing machines to operate collaboratively rather than individually.
