- Models added to cloud platform Model Studio for enterprise access

Beijing-based AI firm Shengshu Technology (生数科技) has entered a broad partnership with Alibaba Cloud to scale deployment of its video-generation models and expand into overseas markets.
Under the agreement, Shengshu’s Vidu model series will be made available on Alibaba Cloud’s Model Studio (百炼) platform, allowing enterprise users to access the tools for applications such as advertising, film production and gaming content creation.
The collaboration spans the full AI stack, including data processing, model training, inference acceleration and application deployment, as Chinese AI firms increasingly rely on cloud providers to commercialize large models.
Alibaba Cloud said it will leverage its global infrastructure network to support Shengshu’s international expansion, while the two companies also plan joint development of so-called “world models” and multimodal video generation systems.
Shengshu, which released its latest Vidu Q3 model in January this year, focuses on AI-generated video capable of synchronizing audio, narration and visuals, as well as supporting multiple languages.
Its models had already been integrated into Alibaba Cloud’s platform prior to the expanded partnership, reflecting closer alignment between model developers and cloud ecosystems in China’s AI sector.
Founded in 2023, Shengshu Technology is a leader in multimodal AI video generation; its flagship Vidu Q3 model ranked No. 1 in China and No. 2 globally on the international AI benchmarking platform Artificial Analysis, surpassing models like Runway Gen-4.5 and OpenAI Sora 2 in February this year.
