PsiBot raises more than $100 million to advance embodied AI
Shanghai-based embodied AI company PsiBot (灵初智能) has raised more than $100 million in a new funding round.
Multiple industrial and financial investors participated, including Tuopu Group, Chery Holding’s Ruicheng Fund, Lens Technology, 37 Interactive Entertainment, Wuhu Investment Holding Group and Fosun Capital. Existing investor Huajin Capital also increased its investment.
The latest funding will support world-model development and commercialization in logistics and advanced manufacturing.
Founded in 2024, PsiBot focuses on dexterous manipulation and positions itself as an “embodied intelligence brain” company.
Its core architecture combines the Psi-R2 world action model, which determines how to act, with the Psi-W0 world model, which predicts what will happen.
In April, Psi-R2 topped the MolmoSpaces global benchmark with a 46.4% Oracle Success Rate, surpassing models from Nvidia Gear and Physical Intelligence.
The company says its lightweight exoskeleton glove has cut high-precision data collection costs to one-tenth of traditional robot teleoperation, helping it accumulate more than 100,000 hours of operational data.
Micro Innovation closes Series B round for AI interconnect chips
Wuxi-based reconfigurable chip designer Micro Innovation Integrated Circuit (沐创集成电路) has completed a Series B funding round worth several hundred million yuan.
The round was backed by MetaX, Lenovo Capital, Baiyun Holding, Guangzhou Financial Holdings and other investors. Existing shareholders THC Ventures and Oriza Holdings also participated.
The company will use the proceeds to develop and commercialize 400G/800G Scale-out intelligent network interface chips and develop high-speed GPU Scale-up interconnect chips.
Founded in 2018 by a team from Tsinghua University’s reconfigurable computing program, Micro Innovation focuses on high-speed interfaces, RDMA acceleration and intelligent computing traffic scheduling.
Its reconfigurable architecture reduces reliance on advanced sub-12nm manufacturing processes, while RDMA transmission latency is below 3 microseconds.
The company has developed a broad portfolio of network chips, completing domestic substitution from gigabit to 400G intelligent NICs, with cumulative shipments approaching 1 million units.
TokenRhythm secures new funds, launches China-focused AI model router
Shanghai-based AI infrastructure startup TokenRhythm (基元律动) has completed a new round of funding, bringing its total financing to tens of millions of dollars.
The round was led by Highlight Capital, with participation from Unite Pioneers Capital and Shangshi Capital.
Its earlier seed round was led by Granite Asia, with participation from CDH Investments VGC, Vision Plus Capital and SEE Fund.
Founded by former Huawei Pangu model executive Wang Yunhe (王云鹤), TokenRhythm is launching public testing of its TokenRhythm API platform, which it positions as a China-focused alternative to OpenRouter.
The platform allows developers to access multiple AI models through a single API key, and has already attracted 54,000 users and more than 500 billion tokens in daily calls. The company is also working with major enterprises on proof-of-concept projects.
Beyond model aggregation, TokenRhythm is developing a “Routing Harness” layer for AI agents that dynamically selects and switches models based on task requirements, cost and real-time status.
Its open-source OpenSquilla agent has surpassed 6,600 GitHub stars, 170,000 clones and 10,000 real-world installations.
