AI video startup Seekoo secures Series A funding for global expansion

  • Hangzhou company bets on long-form AI video creation with new platform
  • Startup targets creators and marketers with multi-agent production tools

Seekoo Technology (寻酷科技), an AI video generation platform builder, has raised a Series A financing round worth more than $10 million to expand its suite of technologies globally, as competition intensifies among startups building generative tools for creators and marketers.

Announced on May 12, the funding round was backed by Vision Plus Capital, MiraclePlus and Atypical Ventures. The company said proceeds will support product upgrades, research and overseas expansion for its newly introduced AI video platform Anijam.ai.

The company now operates a two-product lineup spanning image and video generation, with Dzine.ai focused on AI design and Anijam.ai targeting AI video production.

Founded in Hangzhou in 2022, Seekoo develops AI-generated content tools aimed at simplifying creative workflows for mainstream users.

The company first gained traction with Dzine.ai, an AI design platform launched in late 2023 and marketed internally as an “AI-era Photoshop.”

Seekoo said the product has attracted about 5 million overseas registered users and generates roughly $10 million in annual recurring revenue.

In April 2026, the startup launched Anijam.ai, a multi-agent AI video creation platform initially focused on animation generation. Characterized as the video edition of the AI code editor Cursor, the tool supports production of high-definition videos ranging from five to 20 minutes in length.

The company said the platform has already attracted several thousand paying users globally within the first month of its launch, mainly education-focused YouTube creators and advertising clients.

Most users came through word-of-mouth referrals, according to the company.

“Video creation has enormous room for growth, especially among users who previously didn’t know how to make videos,” co-founder and CEO Fang Chen said. “We want to build an agent that helps users complete the entire video production process. That’s the original goal behind Anijam.ai.”

Prior to Seekoo, Fang worked at Adobe Research, ByteDance’s North America AI Lab and Tencent Holdings. He participated in development of generative AI features for Photoshop and also created one of Douyin’s most widely used AI visual effects tools.

Co-founder and CTO Wang Jue is an IEEE Fellow who previously served as chief scientist at Adobe Research, founding dean of AI heavyweight Megvii’s North America research institute and head of visual computing at Tencent AI Lab.

As demand for narrative-driven long-form AI video content expands rapidly, “Seekoo’s accumulation in generative models and agent technologies can help professional users quickly build high-quality videos,” Ren Yi, executive director at Vision Plus Capital, said in a press release.
