MedLink BCI raises 100 million yuan in Series B
Shaoxing, Zhejiang-based MedLink BCI (迈联医疗) has raised 100 million yuan ($14.9 million) in a Series B round jointly backed by Shanghai Chuangda Industry Control High-Tech Group and GSR United Capital.
Founded in 2018, MedLink BCI is the first Chinese company to receive a medical-device registration certificate for a brain-computer interface product for motor rehabilitation, according to the company.
It has obtained six Class II medical-device registrations, with products deployed in more than 150 hospitals nationwide and used to treat more than 100,000 patient cases.
Its core products collect and decode brain signals to control rehabilitation equipment, helping patients with conditions including stroke and spinal cord injuries undergo neurological rehabilitation training.
The new funding will support product upgrades, capacity expansion and nationwide market development.
MedLink BCI also plans to develop a multimodal brain-computer interface neural-regulation foundation model and extend its products from hospitals into community and home-based rehabilitation settings.
LivSyn Robotics nets over 100 million yuan in Series A
Shanghai-based LivSyn Robotics (灵生科技), a Tsinghua-affiliated embodied AI company, has raised more than 100 million yuan ($14.9 million) in a Series A round from Hofon Capital, DHLT Investment, Suwen Electric Energy and a leading strategic investor in embodied intelligence.
The company positions itself as an infrastructure provider for embodied intelligence, focusing on its proprietary Robotics Unified Device Architecture, or RUDA.
The architecture provides a general software and hardware foundation for embodied robots, enabling their hardware to connect more efficiently with different foundation models and AI agents.
RUDA has already been deployed in industrial applications such as optical-module insertion and removal, with testing success rates approaching 100%, according to the company.
The new funding will support commercialization of embodied intelligence and accelerate the development of physical AI applications.
Semicon tools startup Sucess bags 40 million yuan in Series A
Kunshan, Jiangsu-based Sucess (苏科斯) has raised 40 million yuan ($7 million) in a Series A round from Kunshan Hi-Tech Group Venture Capital, Pudong STI and state-owned Nanjing Hexi Investment.
Founded in March 2022, Sucess develops and manufactures semiconductor wet-process equipment. Its products include through-glass via (TGV) electroplating equipment, wafer- and panel-level electroplating equipment, and semiconductor cleaning systems.
Its fully automated wafer wet-process equipment supports both 8-inch and 12-inch wafers and serves applications including logic, memory, power devices and advanced packaging.
The new funding will support mass production and delivery of its wet-process equipment and expand its market presence, helping accelerate the replacement of imported equipment in glass-substrate advanced packaging.
