- Chinese EV maker posts a third straight monthly sales record as overseas growth accelerates
- First-half exports top last year’s total, driven by strong demand in Europe
Leapmotor delivered a record 93,376 vehicles worldwide in June, up 95% from a year earlier, extending a string of record-breaking months as the Chinese EV maker accelerated both domestic sales and overseas expansion.
The June figure, announced on July 1, marked Leapmotor’s third consecutive monthly delivery record, following 71,387 vehicles in April and 81,569 in May.
First-half deliveries reached 356,487 vehicles, an increase of more than 60% from a year earlier.
The company also surpassed 1.5 million cumulative deliveries globally as of June 18, just eight months after reaching the one-million milestone in October.
100,000 vehicles exported in H1
International markets continued to drive growth. Leapmotor exported nearly 100,000 vehicles in the first six months of the year, already exceeding its total overseas shipments for all of last year and maintaining its lead among China’s EV startups in overseas expansion.
In Italy, the company accounted for more than one-third of the country’s battery-electric vehicle market.
It also remained the country’s top-selling EV brand, with its T03 continuing to rank as the best-selling electric model.

Refreshing the product lineup
Leapmotor also expanded its product lineup with the launch of its flagship D99 MPV on June 25, priced between 249,800 yuan ($36,765) and 319,800 yuan, giving the automaker an entry into the premium multi-purpose vehicle segment.
Its C Series mid-size SUVs sold more than 30,000 units globally in June, while cumulative deliveries of the D19 approached 20,000 units.
The compact A10 topped 20,000 monthly deliveries for another consecutive month, with the B Series compact SUVs set for a refresh in July.
More to come in H2
Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Zhu Jiangming said Leapmotor will unveil a series of new technologies in the second half of the year, building on its vertically integrated development strategy.
The automaker has established in-house development and manufacturing capabilities across key vehicle components, including batteries, electric drive systems and vehicle electronic control architecture.
