Nutshell Therapeutics secures Series C, advances AI-driven drug discovery
Shanghai-based Nutshell Therapeutics (宇道生物), has raised several tens of millions of US dollars in a Series C1 financing round jointly led by Trustar Capital and Decheng Capital.
Fortune Capital and a biopharma-focused fund under the state-backed Wuxi Capital Group also participated.
Founded by Professor Zhang Jian (张健), Nutshell has built AlloMatrix, which it describes as one of the world’s largest databases focused on protein conformational regulation, as well as its proprietary AlloStar computational platform.
The company has developed nearly 20 proprietary drug pipelines. Its lead program, a p53 Y220C reactivator, has advanced into international multicenter clinical trials.
The new funding will be used to further develop its AI and physics-based computational platform and advance its core drug pipelines.
Senwan Electronics bags $15 million in Series A to target chip-level power components
Suzhou-based Senwan Electronics (森丸电子) has secured 100 million yuan ($14.9 million) in Series A funding, jointly led by an undisclosed major optical-module industry player and Glory Ventures, with SR Capital also participating.
The company uses semiconductor manufacturing processes to integrate passive components such as capacitors, inductors and resistors directly onto silicon, replacing conventional discrete component mounting.
Its technology is designed to address power-supply and interconnect bottlenecks in AI computing networks by providing chip-level solutions.
Senwan’s silicon capacitor products have achieved a yield rate above 95%, with monthly production capacity reaching 300 million units.
The new capital will support development of its silicon capacitor and integrated passive-device platforms, capacity expansion and international market expansion.
Yin Cheng closes $15 million Series A to bring embodied AI into logistics
Shanghai-based Yin Cheng Intelligent (寅成智能) has raised nearly 100 million yuan ($14.9 million) in a Series A round led by People’s Capital and Shanghai Semiconductor Equipment and Material Industry Investment Fund. Existing investor Detong Capital also participated.
Founded by former Google AI executive Pu Qunyan (浦群妍), the company focuses on applying embodied AI to logistics operations.
Its general-purpose picking robot has entered the core parcel-sorting process known as “supply-to-line,” in which packages are fed into sorting systems.
Yin Cheng has secured an order worth more than 1 billion yuan from logistics giant SF Express, which the company describes as a representative example of embodied AI being deployed in a core logistics workflow.
The latest funding will support further development and commercialization of its logistics robotics technology.

ExploMar nets shy of $15 million in Series A to expand electric-boat business
Suzhou-based ExploMar (擎波探索) has raised nearly 100 million yuan ($14.9 millio) in a Series A round co-led by Delian Capital, Changshu Guofa Venture Capital and Suzhou Capital Group, with 37 Interactive Entertainment also participating.
The company develops high-performance electric propulsion systems for boats and holds more than 100 proprietary patents.
Its product lineup covers propulsion systems ranging from 70 to 1,200 horsepower.
ExploMar’s overseas revenue rose 450% year on year in the first half of 2026, while its business has expanded into more than 20 countries.
The new funding will be used to strengthen its global sales channels and establish overseas service and spare-parts centers.

Rye Robotics snags angel funding, targets golf-course maintenance
Hangzhou-based Rye Robotics (莱锋机器人) has raised tens of millions of yuan in angel funding exclusively from Yuda Capital to develop commercial autonomous mowing robots.
The company focuses initially on golf-course turf maintenance. Its first product, the Boulder F1 autonomous mower for golf fairways, was launched in September 2025 and has received FCC certification in the United States.
The mower is designed for Level 4 autonomous operation, allowing it to perform commercial mowing tasks with a high degree of autonomy.
Rye Robotics plans to use the new funding to build overseas sales and service teams and develop more specialized products, including mowers for golf greens and roughs.

High Field raise angel+ funds, develops high-temperature superconducting magnets
Shanghai-based High Field Technology (强场科技) has raised tens of millions of yuan in an Angel+ financing round co-led by Matrix Partners China and Cathay Capital.
Etern Group, TCL Ventures and Pudong Venture Capital also participated.
The company’s technical team includes researchers and engineers from Tsinghua University, Fudan University, the University of Science and Technology of China, and the Institute of Plasma Physics at the Hefei Institutes of Physical Science under the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Core team members bring about two decades of experience in high-field high-temperature superconducting magnets and superconducting magnets for fusion applications.
The company will use the proceeds to expand its team, advance common and core technologies and establish basic production capabilities.
