- Chinese team also claims Moto2 victory in comeback finish
- Marks latest success for Zhejiang-backed motorcycle maker on global stage
CFMoto (春风动力) powered its Aspar team to a stunning Moto3 victory and a comeback win in Moto2 at the MotoGP Spanish Grand Prix on April 26, extending a run of strong results for the Chinese motorcycle maker on the global racing stage.
At the Jerez circuit in Spain, the Hangzhou-based brand’s Moto3 rider David Muñoz won the race by nearly two seconds, helping the team maintain its lead in both the rider and team standings for the category.

In Moto2, the team also came back from an early setback, and currently ranks second in the team standings.
The result comes less than a month after another Zhejiang-backed team, ZXMoto, secured a double victory in the WorldSSP championship, underscoring a steep ascent of Chinese-backed entrants in international motorcycle racing.
MotoGP is widely regarded as the premier competition in motorcycle racing, bringing together top riders and cutting-edge engineering.

Since striking a deeper partnership with Spain’s Aspar team in 2024, CFMoto has expanded its presence on the global stage.
In its debut season with Aspar, the team swept the Moto3 rider, constructor and team championships, becoming the first Chinese motorcycle brand to claim a world title in MotoGP and breaking the long-standing dominance of European, US and Japanese manufacturers.

Founded in 1989 by Lai Guogui as a motorcycle parts workshop in Wenzhou, CFMoto has grown into a major manufacturer of large-displacement motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). Its headquarters is now located in Linping, a district of Hangzhou.
The company now integrates R&D, manufacturing and sales across motorcycles, ATVs, electric two-wheelers and core components, and operates more than 9,000 retail outlets worldwide, with products sold in over 100 countries and regions.
